This year, for all of us, has been a little more challenging. With the Covid-19 pandemic and economic uncertainty, the Russell Museum is holding its first-ever virtual Russell auction on September 12.
I am extremely proud to have a piece included again this year. It is titled Lake Saint Mary Hues, an original oil 30x40". The painting was based on a plein air study from a trip last year to spectacular Glacier National Park. Here is a link to the online catalogue, bidding platform links, absentee/telephone bid form and our auction date/times: https://cmrussell.org/the-russell/
The Russell Museum has done an incredible job of not only showcasing the art and legacy of Charlie Russell, but has preserved and showcased the art of the West. By placing a bid to own a piece of wonderful art, not only will support the Museum’s future, but will ensure that the Art and Soul of the American West is thriving!
Save the date for September 12 and join virtually at The Russell.
